Who Are We?
Formed in 2011, MGDD is the premier roller derby league in the Middle Georgia area. As a member owned and operated organization, we are dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of our skaters and community by participating in local events and activities while working to increase recognition of women’s flat-track roller derby. We strive to advance our organization by encouraging teamwork, dedication and cultivating the individual talents and strengths of all our members. We are committed to excellence, both on and off the track. Following the rules and guidelines of the Women’s Flat track Derby Association (WFTDA), we strive to eventually obtain full WFTDA membership.​

Interested in being a part of MGDD?
MGDD is a community inclusive of people of all sizes, ages, and backgrounds. You must be 18 years of age or older to become a skating member of the league. For all you out there who think you would look good in black and white stripes? Perhaps you would like to become a referee to keep MGDD in check? Or maybe you would like to be part of our family as a volunteer or non-skating official? We look forward to welcoming you into our family.

Haven't skated in years?
Most of us started that way as well! Of course, prior skating or athletic experience is encouraged, but it's not required of any type of league member, especially those who see themselves playing a more supporting role in the league. If you are committed to dedicating the time and hard work, we will teach you the tools to train yourself into a hard-core roller demon!!
